Schott Music Mini Maestro 1

The three-volume collection ‘Mini Maestro’ contains very easy to moderately difficult short piano pieces spanning five centuries, arranged chronologically from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods through to Modern, Jazz, Pop and Minimal Music. At the end of each volume, there are three bonus pieces for four hands. All the pieces are easy to learn and offer a varied repertoire that is an ideal complement to any piano method, suitable for concerts, lessons, exams and competitions.

Volume 1 contains pieces within a five-note range or varying five-note ranges, followed by pieces within an octave range featuring simple rhythms and easy chord playing. Further criteria include varied articulation, melody in the left hand, octave signs, and major/minor pieces up to one sharp or flat.
