TheSonor Jost Nickel Snare Drum 14"x6,25" Piano Black/Silver is a high-end snare drum made from beech. The 14-ply shell is 9 mm thick and finished in Piano Black with a silver stripe. The 2.3 mm Power Hoops, combined with Remo heads , deliver an instrument with stable tuning and a full-bodied sound. Double lugs with Tune-Safe and the tried-and-tested Sonor SQ2 Dual Glide snare lift ensure perfect handling. The Jost Nickel Signature Badge, with its simple silhouette and signature, blends perfectly into the modern design. Jost Nickel is best known for the band Jan Delay & Disko No.1, for whom he has been playing drums for more than ten years, but he is also a successful author and teacher.

Beech shell with a modern look: Sonor SSD Jost Nickel Snare

The 14” x 6.25” shell, crafted from locally sourced beech wood, forms the basis for the warm and clear sound of the Jost Nickel Snare. Thanks to 14 layers of wood, each 9 mm thick, the tone is quite dry and focused. The patented Sonor Dual Glide lift mechanism operates smoothly and can be adjusted with precision. The steel Power Hoops and Remo heads bring out the full sound potential. The high-gloss black finish, combined with the silver stripe, creates a modern yet understated look, which is harmoniously complemented by the signature badge.
