Tama Starclassic Drum Kit with Hybrid Maple and Birch Shells
The Tama Starclassic Performer MBS42S-DCF Dark Cherry Fade is a professional drum kit from the Starclassic Performer series featuring hybrid shells and an excellent finish. The tom and floor tom shells, constructed using hybrid technology, each consist of 6 plies and are 6 mm (4 plies of birch + 2 plies of maple). The bass drum is constructed from 7 plies (5 plies of birch + 2 plies of maple), with a total thickness of 7 mm.
Construction
By combining the two types of wood, the Starclassic Hybrid Shells offer the clear projection of birch, perfectly blended with the deep warmth of maple. All drumheads are by Evans, and the reliable Star-Cast Mounting System for tom suspension is also included. As with all Starclassic series, professional cast hoops have been fitted to the Performer range.
