Tama Starclassic drum kit with maple and birch hybrid shells.
The Tama Starclassic Performer MBS52RZS-SKA Sky Blue Aurora is a professional drum kit from the Starclassic Performer series, featuring hybrid maple and birch shells and an excellent finish. The tom and floor tom shells are 6 mm thick (4-ply birch + 2-ply maple), while the bass drum is 7 mm thick (5-ply birch + 2-ply maple).
Structure
By combining the two woods, the Starclassic hybrid shells deliver the clear projection of birch, perfectly balanced with the deep warmth of maple. All drumheads are from Evans, and the reliable Star-Cast mounting system is used for tom suspension. As with all Starclassic series kits, professional cast hoops are included in the Performer series for added durability and performance.
