ART PowerMIX III Kompakter 3-Kanal-Stereomixer

Das Gerät ist durch das Metallgehäuse gut geschirmt und fühlt sich solide an. Allein das Einschaltgeräusch an den Ausgängen stört mich, eine integrierte Power-On-Mute-Schaltung wäre nicht schlecht gewesen. Ich habe mich aber damit beholfen, den Mixer zuerst einzuschalten.

this device aint hooked with a power switch to start this way. but that aint no problem for me cauz I m about to make all my studio devices switchable over one power unit so no big deal.

the sound quality is top, same as the overall build quality and the case is a solid build too.

the little box doesnt leave any wishes for me in focus on the inputs and outputs. I also connected a half accoustic guitar via trs adapter to run a double mono signal. the art power mix III allows me to do those setups cauz all its inputs are balanced, which is nice to make clean routings. I m also able to use high quality cables and so I like the fact of the balanced connectors.

the outputs are balanced too and there even are two headphone outs which are separately controllable.

each input has a volume knob and so the output does too. nice feature for the price.

the thing about the three stars given for the handling goes to the fact that the volume knobs at the front are too close to each other. there s a bit of a distance between them missing which decreases the comfort of controlling.

anyways the phones level knob is the only one which has some distance to the rest of the other ones.

for this price its totally harmless and no reason to complain too deep. the device is very well build and it fulfills a lot of uses.
