The rosewood fretboard has a radius of 12", is fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and connects directly to the 42.85 mm wide nylonnut. The 1964 ES-335 Reissue in Indigo BlueBurst nitrocellulose finish revives the spirit of the 60s and offers an authentic vintage look and wonderful playing comfort. Headstock with Kluson single line/double ring tuners and engraved serial number.
Kluson Single Line/Double Ring tuners
The six solid Kluson Single Line/Double Ring tuners on the headstock of the guitar, with the engraved serial number on the back, provide outstanding tuning stability. The traditional bridge duo of Tune-o-Matic and Stopbar in combination with the nickel hardware ensures a particularly resonant connection to the semi-hollow body of the 1964 ES-335 Reissue as well as reliable tuning. An additional improvement in the resonance behaviour is created by the wing-shaped openings, which make the sound more voluminous.
The ES-335 comes with two volume controls, two tone controls and a 3-way switch to control the pickups.
Gibson Alnico III Custombucker
When it comes to pickups, the ES-335 relies on the Custombucker Alnico III pickups. The high Output of these powerful pickups provides a voluminous sound character and enables variable and powerful sounds. A significant expansion of the tonal variety is achieved by the built-in 3-way switch to get the best out of the bridge and neck pickups.
