The Roland TD-27KV2 drum kit is a professional electric drum kit from the V-Drums series. The Roland V-Drums are equipped with 728 sounds, digital snare and ride pads and Prismatic Sound Modeling technology. In addition to kick and tom pads, the TD-27KV2 version has three digital pads, namely the VH-14D hihat, the Roland PD-140DS snare pad and CY-18DR ride cymbals. These feature high-resolution multi-sensor triggering for unrivaled dynamics and precise detection of the strike position. The size of the pads and the professional rack also offer a realistic playing feel. In contrast to rubber pads, Roland's Mesh Heads produce a significantly lower volume.

With the PureAcoustic Ambience technology, the acoustic room conditions can be digitally adjusted. WAV samples of up to 24 minutes can be transferred to the TD-27KV2 via SD card. With the practical Bluetooth function, you can play along with songs from your smartphone or laptop. If the Roland digital drums are to be expanded, three additional external trigger inputs are available.

Another special feature is the integrated 28-channel USB audio interface. This allows music to be produced directly via the supplied module. In addition to the Master Out , there are two assignable direct outs that can be used to make individual sounds beautiful directly to the PA mixing console.

Numerous connections for professional use

If you produce music professionally with a DAW, you can use the E-Drum Set module as a 28-channel USB audio interface. Two direct outputs create ideal conditions for live use of the E-Drums, for example the snare pad and the Kick pad can be sent separately to Mix. With the three additional trigger inputs, the e-drum Set can be expanded. Of course, an AUX IN and a headphone output are also available on the drum module as standard. In addition to the dedicated MIDI inputs and outputs, MIDI data can also be transmitted via the USB connection to synchronize the kit with other MIDI devices or to trigger software sounds of e-drums from the computer.

Digital pads offer perfect expression - TD-27KV2 with digital hi-hat

All drum pads are covered with professional mesh heads from Roland. They offer a realistic feel and pleasant rebound for electric drums. The two crash cymbals (CY-12C and CY-13R) have two and three zones respectively and an accurate stop function. The highlight of the electric drum kit, however, is the snare (PD-140DS), the hi-hat (VH-14D) and the ride cymbal (CY-18DR). The three digital pads are connected to the module via USB. They offer multi-sensor triggering, whereby each position of the pad is assigned an authentic tone, as is otherwise only the case with acoustic instruments. The result: thanks to the numerous sensors and extremely fast signal processing, the snare and cymbals offer an excellent response. In this way, every playing technique is reproduced with maximum naturalness, whether ghost notes, rim shots or cross sticks on the snare. Even the smallest hits are precisely recognized and transmitted. With unsurpassed touch sensitivity, tonal variations and open/closed resolution, the VH-14D is the best electronic Hi-Hat on the market. The 14-inch top/bottom cymbal design can be mounted on any stand for an authentic look and feel. Game dynamics, stick techniques and foot movements are captured with perfect detail thanks to the high-resolution detection system and lightning-fast module processing.
