Acoustic feel meets modern V-Drums technology

The Roland VAD316 V-Drums Acoustic Design combines the authentic feel of traditional drums with cutting-edge e-drum technology. Featuring real wooden shells, a full-size bass drum, and flat tom shells, the kit boasts a natural look and impressive stage presence. The V31 sound module is powered by the advanced sound engine of the top-tier V71 model, delivering a rich, dynamic sound that offers an acoustic feel but at a controllable volume, whether you're playing at home, in the studio, or on stage.

Natural feel and versatile features

The PDA120LS snare drum, with cross-stick detection and adjustable head tension, ensures precise response and authentic dynamics. The 18" KD-18 bass drum is highly responsive, delivering a powerful, deep punch. The setup also includes three flat PDA toms with two-zone sensors for natural rebound. The VH-10 hi-hat, played on a real hi-hat stand, offers the full acoustic experience with its realistic feel and response.

Realistic cymbals and flexible setup

The revised CY-12C-T, CY-14R-T, and CY-16R-T cymbal pads are designed to react dynamically to any playing style. They offer bow, edge, and choke functions for nuanced playing, while the ride pad stands out with its natural rebound. The three DCS-30 combination stands provide maximum flexibility in setup, allowing for stable positioning even during intense performances.

Connectivity and creative extensions

The V31 module features over 200 kits and more than 1,000 sounds, all with extensive editing functions. Thanks to Bluetooth audio, USB-C multi-channel audio, and wireless app integration, practicing, recording, and streaming are seamless. Additionally, the integrated coach system with a phrase trainer and hit display helps track progress and refine technique. For even more realistic sounds, additional multi-layer expansions are available via the Roland Cloud, including high-quality DW drum kits.
