Compact Eurorack sample player with 32 samples, MicroSD and CV control
The Play Black module from 2hp is a compact sample player with up to 32 samples in direct access and variable CV control. Samples can be played as one-shots, in a loop or in gate mode. Transposition is possible over a range of minus three to plus two octaves, either freely or quantised. In addition to CV control of pitch, the same option is available for selecting samples.
Of course, you can also play back sounds other than drum samples. Short chords, zaps, FX sounds, vocals and shouts… the sample player doesn’t mind – a real boon for performances on a modular system.
