With the Fender Custom Shop 1955 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Faded Nocaster Blonde, the Fender Custom Shop draws on the specifications of the early Stratocaster years and combines them with meticulous ageing. The two-piece body, crafted from selected ash, features a Heavy Relic finish in Flash Coat Lacquer, which authentically replicates the signs of wear seen on an instrument played over decades. To complement this, the one-piece maple neck is based on the substantial 1954 ‘U’ profile and delivers the playing feel of the first generation of Stratocasters. This Custom Shop Stratocaster model comes complete with a hardshell case and certificate.

Custom Shop Fat ‘50s Stratocaster Single Coils
The sound is delivered by three hand-wound Custom Shop Fat ‘50s single-coil pickups, whose RWRP middle pickup reduces noise in the intermediate positions. Combined with the classic Fat ‘50s circuitry and the 5-way switch, this produces the characteristic range of early Stratocaster sounds. The Vintage Synchronised Tremolo complements the traditional features and enables expressive vibrato effects in the style of the 1950s.
Hardware
Historical details such as vintage-style tuning machines with the Fender logo, a bone nut and the Vintage Disc String Tree emphasise the instrument’s authentic character. At the same time, the compound fretboard radius of 7.25" to 9.5" combines the classic feel of early Stratocasters with modern playability. The package includes a deluxe hard-shell case, a guitar strap and the Fender Custom Shop Certificate of Authenticity.
