The Ibanez Prestige SR6605 combines the characteristic strengths of Ibanez Soundgear instruments with the high-quality craftsmanship of the Japanese Prestige series. An African mahogany body with an elegant Mappa Burl top (maple burl) combined with the Ghost Fleet Blue Burst finish ensures a sophisticated look, whilst the five-piece Atlas HP S-TECH maple/walnut neck offers a fast playing feel and high stability across all 24 medium frets. Sonically, the five-string features two Nordstrand Big Single pickups with wooden covers, which, together with the Ibanez Sonitech 3-band preamp, cover a broad spectrum ranging from punchy lows through articulate mids to brilliant highs. Additional features such as the EQ bypass, the Hexa-Mid system for selecting the mid-frequency, the high-quality MR5S bridge, Gotoh tuners and Luminlay side dots underline the professional calibre of this Prestige five-string, manufactured in Japan.
