Brandon Ellis Signature-Kelly: High-performance up to the 27th fret

The new Jackson Pro Plus Signature Brandon Ellis Kelly KE27 electric guitar is by no means just another colour variant of the guitarist from The Black Dahlia Murder’s existing signature model. Not only is the elegant Gold Crackle finish a real eye-catcher – on closer inspection, it’s the unusually large number of frets that really stands out! The KE27 comes with no fewer than 27 jumbo stainless steel frets, even though the instrument has neither a baritone scale length nor the classic standard scale length of 25.5". Instead, Jackson has opted for a shortened 25.1" scale length, which makes it effortless to perform bends even in the highest registers without compromising on comfortable playability. The one-piece, graphite-reinforced maple neck is paired with a Nyatoh body and, together with the Gotoh GE1996T double-locking tremolo, ensures high stability and precise handling. In terms of tone, Jackson features a Seymour Duncan Dyad Parallel Axis Signature humbucker at the bridge, developed specifically for Brandon Ellis, which can be switched between series and parallel wiring via a push/pull function. Complemented by the Seymour Duncan PA-STK at the neck, the KE27 covers a wide tonal spectrum and is particularly well-suited to modern metal and death metal styles.
