Byzance Foundry Reserve: Handcrafted cymbals from Turkey
The Meinl B19FRC Byzance Foundry Reserve Crash 19" is a hand-hammered, one-of-a-kind piece made from B20 bronze with a Traditional Finish. The Foundry Reserve cymbals, produced using traditional methods, offer a very broad tonal spectrum and a defined stick response. In Turkey, every cymbal in the Byzance Foundry Reserve series is hand-hammered using the ‘one-of-a-kind’ technique, creating a unique surface with large hammer marks; each cymbal is truly one of a kind. Both sides of the cymbal are turned; this manufacturing process enables the broad and voluminous soundscape that dominates the cymbal’s fundamental tone. Due to the highly labour-intensive, traditional craftsmanship involved , these one-of-a-kind pieces are available only in very limited numbers.
