Meinl Byzance Jazz Thin Crash 20" B20JTC

The Meinl Byzance Jazz Thin Crash 20" is a hand-hammered crash cymbal made from B20 bronze with a Traditional finish. As the name suggests, it is ideally suited to jazz, but pop and fusion drummers will also find it to their liking. Thanks to the intricate hammering process, the Byzance Jazz Thin Crash offers a multi-layered frequency mix. The fundamental sound is dry, warm and dark, with a fast attack and short sustain. Due to its size, it is also suitable for use as a crash/ride or light ride when played softly.

Traditional craftsmanship meets high-tech

Byzance cymbals are manufactured in Turkey according to time-honoured craft traditions, where they are shaped by hand through hammering. Back in Gutenstetten, the high-quality B20 bronze sheets are then finished with one of a total of six different Byzance finishes using state-of-the-art technology.
