The Desmodus Versio is astereo effects module from Noise Engineering that presents itself as a room simulator, but covers much more than one is used to with reverbs. With just a few controls, the module generates a wide range of reverb effects – from delay effects through to beautiful, dense reverb tails and right up to dark and dystopian atmospheres – which, thanks to the numerous CV inputs, take on a complex life of their own. Designed as a DSP platform, it can and aims to be Desmodus Versio be more than just a “Reverberator”; in future, there are plans for interchangeable firmware content. It is ideally suited as a backend module for individual signals, such as drums, but also for complex patches in just the right place.
