The PRS SE Custom 24-08 Quilt in Charcoal Cherry Burst combines an exceptional sound with a high-quality finish, making it a real eye-catcher both in the rehearsal room and on stage. It is built around a mahogany body fitted with a maple top. The elegant appearance is provided by a quilted maple veneer, whose characteristic grain is shown off to particular advantage beneath the transparent finish. The set-in maple neck features an ebony fingerboard with 24 frets and a 10-inch radius, making the instrument comfortable to play and allowing for both precise riffs and expressive lead parts to be played effortlessly. In terms of tone, the guitar features two TCI ‘S’ humbuckers, which cover a wide spectrum from warm, vintage-inspired sounds right through to clearly defined highs. The electronics are complemented by mini-switches for the coil-tap function, which allow you to access additional crisp single-coil sounds. The nickel-finished hardware comprising a PRS tremolo and matching PRS tuners ensures stable tuning and precise intonation.
