It produces a loud, clear sound with long sustain, and even when played at fast tempos, each note remains distinct, resulting in a brilliant, meditative tone. Handmade in Great Britain, the handpan is crafted from cold-rolled stainless steel and tuned at 20 °C. Its stainless steel surface provides a protective coating that guards the playing area against scratches and wear.
