The pickup itself?
Hot. Not an unusable hot though. Pushes the front of an amp nicely without sounding overblown with nice mids and clear articulation even on super high gain. Cleans up lovely with an audio taper volume pot. Like a JB but a third of the price.
Great replacement/hot rodding pickup.
