Devilish 8-string with active Schecter Diamond humbuckers

With the Demon-8, Schecter is targeting guitarists who wish to combine the extended tonal range of an eight-string with modern features. The 28-inch scale length ensures tight string tension and supports precisely defined low-end tones, whilst the slim Thin-‘C’ neck profile offers a comfortable playing experience despite the wide nut width. A basswood body and wenge fingerboard form the basis of the design, complemented by 24 extra-jumbo frets for smooth playability right up to the highest registers. Sonically, the Demon-8 features two active Schecter Diamond HB-105S humbuckers, which deliver a powerful and clearly defined sound even with lower tunings. A Schecter Custom hardtail bridge, black-chrome hardware and the Crimson Red Burst finish round off the design, which is tailored to modern metal and progressive playing styles.
