The Yamaha PM-7X Silent Brass II mute for trumpet/cornet is a pickup mute developed in accordance with the latest technical standards. The integrated microphone ensures optimum sound transmission to the Silent Brass II system, which is not supplied with this product. Despite the reduction in sound, intonation remains stable across all registers when using the PM-7X. A comfortable playing feel is maintained, as the blowing resistance is almost natural and the airflow remains optimal. The design of the PM-7X has been improved so that the mute can now be stored in the case; it fits completely inside the bell.
