Fame Black Steel Snare 14"x6,5" FSS-65 Hammered

Owning this piece for a couple weeks now I ( again ) can confidently say we are living in lucky times that brands like FAME create for many musicians. LUCKY musicians I must say.

Hammered shell, die cast hoops, nice throw off and even aesthetics were in considered as the whole snare including those 20 lugs and the hoops are all in mat black. I could stop here and you’d just have to love it for the price already.. But then there’s the sound.. That’s where the shock continues.

I created a 10 mins long video of testing the snare alone. Two different tunings, a few different muffling options played each with wooden and carbon drumsticks. Cross Stick and different parts of the playing zone for you to see what sounds this amazing snare offers as well as how sensitive it is.

The other video is of the same snare with the whole kit. ( Two different kits here, both FAME, one being FAME FBP the other one FAME Custom Maple - 10ply Keller Shells )

This is one of those where you'd have to give over all 6 out of 5 stars for the price/BASICALLY EVERYTHING ELSE ratio.

And this snare will do GREAT JOB in a studio and live situation, too. Just go get one before it's too late ;-)

Die Snare hat einen unglaublichen Sound und Bums durch die Gusspannreifen. Die Verarbeitung ist für die Preisklasse super.
Mittlerweise habe ich auch noch die Messing und die Kupfersnare gekauft und bin restlos begeistert. Mein Vorschlag ist noch
eine Snare mit Alukessel in dieser Konfiguration anzubieten. Würde ich sofort kaufen.

Hammer Snare

EIne wirklich gute Snare. Selbst mit den mitgelieferten Fame Remo UT einlagigen Fell und nur einem Dämpfungspad kling sie bei tiefer Stimmung richtig knallig mit kontroliierten Obertönen.
und gut. Unser Drummer findet sie besser als unsere anderen Snare die im 150-200 Euro bereich liegen.
Wir machen Southern Rock.

Rein das Instrument betrachtet "TOP".....aber beim Design hätte man wirklich darauf achten müssen das der FAME Sticker gerade aufgeschraubt ist.
