Gretsch G2224 Junior Jet Bass II SB Tobacco Sunburst B-Ware/Demo

I bought the Gretsch Jet Junior nearly a year ago. I had played guitar for many years and fancied having a go at bass.I thought a short scale would be the best for my small hands and I liked the Les Paul junior shape so I decided to try the Gretsch and Ive not regretted it one bit. The body is of lime wood which looks just like mahogany but is somewhat lighter in weight. The neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard and is very comfortable to play. It has two mini-humbucker pickups which, despite their small size, are surprisingly powerful. A pickup selector switch and master volume and tone control make this bass simple to use, yet offer an amazing variety of sounds from a deep, full thump to a twangy guitar sound. All in all this bass offers the beginner or the pro great value for money. Its an absolute bargain.
