Mit der Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AMH90-BK Black schickt Ibanez eine handliche Hollow-Body E-Gitarre ins Rennen, deren Metier hochkarätige Sounds zwischen Jazz, Blues und Rock sind. Hierbei verspricht der kompakte Resonanzkorpus aus laminiertem Lindenholz eine sonore Klangfarbe mit luftigem Ansprechverhalten, während der dreiteilige Nyatoh-Ahorn-Hals mit der optimalen Rundung des AM-Expressionist-Profils wendige Spieleigenschaften verspricht. Am Gitarrenverstärker sorgen zwei Ibanez Super 58 Alnico-Humbucker mit moderatem Output fein artikulierte Vintage-Sounds, die jedes spielerische Detail und die resonante Klangfarbe der Hollow-Body-Konstruktion gekonnt an den Verstärker übertragen. Der Tri-Tone-Switch für den Hals-Pickup sorgt hierbei über unterschiedliche Spulenverschaltungen für eine gesteigerte Klangvielfalt. Neben der präzise einstellbaren Gibraltar Performer Bridge komplettieren ein klassisches VT06-Tailpiece und exakte Die-Cast-Mechaniken die Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AMH90-BK Black.
Ibanez Artcore Expressionist AMH90-BK BlackUsually I don't buy guitars online but since I was not able to find the AMH90 anywhere in Ireland I made an exception.
I was looking for a lightweight guitar with good pickups for a fair price. Wanted to avoid to swap pickups on a hollow body guitar.
The AMH90 is lightweight (approx 2,6 kg).
Using a leather strap there basically is no neck-dive.
The pickups sound absolutely amazing.
Even with the tone rolled off all the way the sound is always usable in context.
The build quality from the indonesian factory is great for the price but there are a few minor imperfections. As one of the non-sales focused Youtube reviews pointed out, the dots in the fret-board binding are not perfectly centered.
Mine also has some imperfections in the tortoise pick guard. If one is a visual perfectionist a few guitars will be shipped back and forth to find a pleasing copy.
Sound and feel of the AMH90 totally impressed me and I would buy another one if mine would be stolen.
