The Kinman Clean Skin Humbucker Pickup is great for guitars with a neck humbucker and bridge single coil, like the Tele models and others.

Thanks to Kinman’s Triple Alnico Tone advantage it has a juicy single coil vibe (think fatter P-90 sound) which makes it great for the neck position because it overcomes the tendency of conventional humbuckers to be wooffy & mushy with reduced definition of low notes at high volume. It’s midrange has a lot of TONE with a strong piano flavour. Split single coil sound is great, quite Strat like.

The unconventional coils of the Clean Skin with the Triple Alnico Tone advantage means a Humbucker with a remarkable difference. It has been described by one customer who has long experience with humbuckers as “sounding somewhere between a Filtertron and a P-90, with a mid-range bark that is not like either of them”. It has a juicy single coil vibe (think very fat & luscious P-90) which makes it great for the neck position because it overcomes the tendency of conventional humbuckers to be wooffy & mushy with reduced definition of the wound strings at high volume. However it can still grind and growl with better definition and clarity in the bridge position which makes it also sound better under distortion than other humbuckers.
