Der Ein- bzw. Umbau ist unkompliziert und innerhalb von wenigen Minuten erledigt.
Stimmstabiler als normale Mechaniken und das Aufziehen der Saiten geht auch schneller von der Hand.

Die Tuner werten meine Les Paul Tribute enorm auf. Vorher war das Saiten-Wechseln fummelig...
jetzt ist das fix gemacht... und die Stimmstabilität ist besser als mit den originalen Tunern!
Hat sich also wirklich gelohnt das Geld noch mal zusätzlich in die Gitarre zu investieren.

Habe an meiner Westerngitarre diese Mechaniken gegen die herkömmlichen getauscht und bin sehr zufrieden. Sie tun was Sie sollen. Es hat auch alles gepasst. Ohne Probleme.

This is my second pair of Kluson Locking Tuners, but the first with a back lock system - the other has the locking screws on top of the posts.

Installation was no hassle at all - take off the old tuners, put the new ones on, screw the little screw in, tighten it all up - done.

They do the job very well, tuning the guitar is really smooth but to me could be a tad better. Feels sometimes as if the post only starts to move after the first turn. They hold the tuning very good then though.

One thing that bothered me at first was, that the pins that hold the string did not get down by themselves when turning the locking screw. Had to push them down with a the tip of a needle (or, string). Have not changed stringd yet, so I will have to see if that got better over time, otherwise I'd find it really annoying having to free the string forcefully every time.

All in all they are ok if you want to upgrade your guitar with locking tuners and can't/don't want to spent the extra money for Hipshots or Grovers. Once installed they do their job fine. Might update the review after a few times of changing strings.
