Kurzweil SP4-8Kurzweil SP¤-8 is a traditional Kurzweil instrument, well-made and heavy, a quality product.
Unfortunately, the famous Kurzweil sound of SP4-8 is also a bit traditional, not at the level with the best competitors. However, the piano is easy to use and very practical e.g. as a MIDI-keyboard. In particular, the keyboard is very good in the price range and a joy to play.
Kurzweil provides software update including also updated sounds, which gives some improvements. However, the piano works as such great e.g. in band use as a piano and e-piano – which is not a self evident with stage pianos.
For hammond organ sounds, in practice, a separate hammond clone is necessary.
