With the PRS SE McCarty 594 Turquoise, Paul Reed Smith brings the character of the popular McCarty 594 Core model with classic vintage details and enormous tonal variety to the attractively priced SE series. The electric guitar uses the tried-and-tested set-neck construction and the 24.594" scale length (624.68 mm) that gives the model its name, which contributes significantly to the warm, open tone. The comfortable "Pattern Vintage" neck ensures a pleasant playing feel, while the elegant flame maple veneer on the maple top gives the mahogany body a high-quality look. In terms of sound, the PRS 58/15 LT "S" humbuckers with their moderate output deliver exactly the right ingredients for authentic vintage sounds: warm, transparent and dynamic. This makes them ideal for crystal-clear clean sounds as well as singing overdrive settings. The equipment is rounded off by robust, stage-ready hardware: the PRS two-piece bridge system and tuning-stable vintage-style tuners ensure reliable performance and clean intonation.
Diese Qualität habe ich nicht erwartet. Hier stimmt alles: Verarbeitung, Sound, Handling inkl. Gewicht. Saitenlage war perfekt eingestellt. Kein Schnarren, Bundstäbchen perfekt abgerichtet und abgerundet. Wenn PRS dieses Niveau halten kann, dann wird es für die Konkurrenz sehr schwer, gut für den Hobby-Gitarristen, der kein Vermögen ausgeben will. I love it.
PS: Ich hatte schon Gitarren, die das dreifache gekostet haben. Kann man machen, muss aber nicht, wie man hier sieht.
