The Doepfer A-174-4v 3D JoystickVintage Edition three-axis CV controller generates control voltages across three axes and impresses with its versatility. In classic fashion, voltages are generated by moving up/down and left/right on the X and Y axes; in addition, the more than generously sized Joystick rotatable, thereby generating the Z-axis. A pushbutton triggers a ‘Gate ’ signal for as long as it is held down. In addition to the outputs for the three axes, there are inverted outputs with adjustable Offset and four outputs for the quadrants. As the Joystick resets itself to the centre position, all values quickly return to zero volts.
