The BX.12 is a battery-powered LED spotlight designed for professional use on stage, at events, in theatres or outdoors. With its RGBW colour mixing, integrated lithium-ion battery and built-in LUMENRADIO CRMX² wireless DMX module, it combines flexible application possibilities with extensive control options.
Flexible lighting design and wireless control
The BX.12’s optical system utilises 12 multi-chip LEDs and RGBW colour mixing comprising red, green, blue and white. The fixed beam angle of 10° is ideal for precise accent lighting, whilst the supplied 20° frost filter provides a wider light distribution when required. In addition to 43 integrated colour macros, 31 pre-programmed modes, fixed colours and master/slave operation are available.
For control, the spotlight supports DMX512-A including RDM and offers six DMX modes with 2 to 11 channels. The built-in LUMENRADIO CRMX² module enables wireless DMX operation and is compatible with LUMENRADIO CRMX transmitters as well as Wireless Solutions G3 and G4 systems. Alternatively, the unit can also be conveniently controlled using the supplied infrared remote control.
For mobile and weather-protected use
The integrated 12,500 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 40 hours of runtime, depending on the operating mode. The charging time is only around three hours. Various battery modes allow the brightness to be adjusted to make the best use of the available battery life.
Thanks to its robust aluminium housing with IP65 protection rating, the BX.12 is designed for outdoor use. The convection cooling system operates without any moving fan components. An OLED display makes it easy to configure the unit directly on the device. The unit also features 5-pin XLR connectors for DMX input and output, mains input and output, and a compact Y-bracket for floor-standing or suspended mounting. Measuring 29.2 x 22 x 33 cm and weighing 9.2 kg, the BX.12 is suitable for both fixed installations and mobile applications.
