Meinl Artisan Pickup Cajon PAESLDOB Soleá Line, Dark Olive Burst

The Meinl Artisan Pickup Cajon PAESLDOB Dark Olive Burst -front-panel is a professional cajon, hand-built in Spain and fitted with an integrated piezo pickup. The cajon can be connected to amplifiers or PA systems via a 6.3mm jack output. Volume and tone controls are located directly next to the output and are used to fine-tune the cajon’s sound. What makes the Artisan cajons from the Meinl Soleá Line special is that two sets of four pre-tuned, hand-wound guitar strings each are stretched across the inside of the striking surface, creating the crisp snare effect. Rounded corners and thumb notches on the top of the front panel improve playing comfort and sound quality. The 9-ply, 12 mm thick Baltic birch body gives the sound a full, powerful character that is clear and warm. A specially developed bass reflex system inside the cajon particularly emphasises the low frequencies whilst playing. Meinl Artisan cajons are handcrafted in Spain at the workshop of cajon master José “Pepote” Hernández Diaz.
