The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. Casino Coupe (Inverness Green) is a thinline hollow-body electric guitar which is inspired by the instantly recognisable 1961 Casino, but is presented in a smaller ES-339 sized frame. This makes the Coupe around 85% of the size of the original Casino, whilst retaining all the classic features that has made the original a favourite among influential guitarists since its introduction.
The laminated Maple body and 5-ply Maple top with Basswood bracing construct a resonant chamber that reacts with the 2x new P-90 pick-ups to create a rich tonal spectrum and wide ranging character options. The output of the guitar is further embellished by the LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, the harness of which aids in sustaining the signal and simultaneously brings a vintage class to the look of the instrument. A Mahogany neck is topped with a smooth Pau Ferro fingerboard, a wood that shares its warm properties with Rosewood, albeit with a lighter colour and denser composition, and features Pearloid "Parallelogram" inlays. The beautiful Casino Coupe is finished off with Nickel hardware, and is available in a collection of eye-catching finishes.

Epiphone Casino Coupe Limited Edition Inverness Green1. Klein: der Korpus weicht angenehm vom Format der hergebrachten halbakustischen Gitarren ab, ohne im Anspielvergleich Klangschwächen zu zeigen. Für mich als eher Kurzgewachsenem ein immenser Vorteil beim Darüberbeugen zum Spiel mit der rechten Hand: Mein Klangurteil bezieht sich vorrangig auf das unverstärkte Spiel zu Übungszwecken; an meinem Fender Princeton verstärkt absolut souverän (und da kann man bekanntlich nach Geschmack vieles variieren).
2. schnell: Das Griffbrett - voll Gibson! flache Bundstäbe, u-förmiges handfestes Halsprofil, kurz: e-Gitarrenspeed möglich.
Sogar die Werkssaiten taugen; Schalter etc. sauber gearbeitet, alles klar.
3. fein: schau sie an: sattes Kirschrot, Vintage-Binding, Inlays, weißes Schlagbrett - nur hier etwas negatives: mein Schlagbett passte nicht recht zwischen die Tonabnehmer, weil die untere Schraube des vorderen Picks nicht ganz eingedreht war. War behebbar, gibt aber kleinen Abzug. Fazit: viel Freude für kleinen Preis, empfehlenswert.
Sehr gute Gitarre zum super Preis! Schöner Klang und Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch!
Bisher habe ich maximal etwas mehr als halb soviel für eine Gitarre ausgegeben. Diese fühlt sich gut an, hat einen angenehmen Klang und überzeugt mich schon in jeder Hinsicht.
(Was würde ich erst empfinden, wenn ich statt zu Epiphone zum Gibson-Modell gegriffen hätte??? :-))
Wunderschöne Gitarre. Hab nur das weiße pickguard entfernt. Klingt gut und fühlt sich gut an!
