I have ordered more than a few guitars online and this one was one of my best overall experiences thus far. The price was right (on sale) and delivery was lightning fast. Ordered late Thursday evening and arrived Saturday morning.
As for the guitar itself, it was ready to play out of the box, and the looks are everything I expected. Gorgeous all the way around. Other than a very slight superficial crack in the paint on the nut, everything was 100% correct. I mean I am the kind of person who looks for things wrong and I know where I have seen issues in the past, from three-way switches not working to truss rods that don't work, to high frets, to sharp fret ends, you name it. This particular guitar has none of those issues.
Soundwise, I compared it to my trusty Gibson Les Paul Standard with Burstbuckers and in terms of output and tone, while certainly not exactly the same, the Stealth is not out of its league. I think the neck pickup in particular produces a creamy tone clean or dirty that none of my other guitars have.
Some reviewers have commented that it is a bit on the dark side in terms of sound, but for me it is exactly right, plenty of highs. I wish I could have been as satisfied with my other purchases throughout the years as I am with this one. Highly recommended!
