The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Plus HSS 6-string Electric Guitar in Mystic Black takes a classic Humbucker-equipped Fender Strat and brings it into the 21st century thanks to the addition of brand new pickup circuitry that allows for a multitude of configurations at the change of a card.

The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Plus HSS features a classically contoured alder body that is joined by a satin finished modern C-profile maple neck.  The neck itself is topped with a compound radius rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets and a synthetic bone nut.

The body of the American Deluxe Stratocaster Plus HSS is equipped with a Twin Head humbucker pickup at the bridge and a pair of Noiseless N3 single-coil Strat pickups in the middle and neck positions.  Joining the pickups is a revolutionary “personality card” system that allows for interchangeable cards to be fitted to the back of the body to change the configuration of the pickups and associated circuitry.  The pre-installed card produces standard HSS Stratocaster pickup wiring and tones, while the two additional colour-coded cards provide modified circuitry and pickups that instantly change the tone of the guitar.

The Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Plus HSS also features a two-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles,  a three-ply mint green pickguard, aged white control knobs, Micro-Tilt neck adjustment mechanism, Bi-Flex truss rod system, deluxe locking tuners and nickel-chrome hardware.  Also included is a carry case for the two additional personality cards, hard case, cable, strap and polishing cloth.
